Kristina provides advocacy
services and advice in the areas of commercial, civil and public law.
She has extensive experience in disputes relating to contracts, trade
practices, public law (including judicial review), land law, natural resources
and public works, charities, trusts and estates, regulatory enforcement and
disciplinary proceedings. She has appeared in the High Court, Court of
Appeal and Supreme Court as well as before select committees, councils and
tribunals.
Kristina has held roles previously as a judges’ clerk at the Auckland High
Court, with two national law firms as a commercial litigator, as Legal
Counsel to the Casino Control Authority, and Crown Counsel with the Crown
Law Office.
Kristina was deputy convenor of the Law Reform Committee of the New Zealand
Law Society, and is a former trustee of the New Zealand Law Foundation, and a
former member of the council of the Auckland District Law Society, the
council of the Legal Research Foundation, the executive committee of the
Corporate Lawyers’ Association of New Zealand and the committee of the
Wellington Women Lawyers Association.
